Custom Watercolor Workshop in Switzerland for 7 people only. Home base is in the quaint medieval village of Gruyere, with a hill top castle, quaint buildings, flowery balconies, and cobblestone streets. We’ll see cheese making, taste chocolate, eat cheese fondue, and paint on location. We will be introduced to the art of paper cutting in the village of Rougemont plus sketch beautiful wooden doors and window boxes. There will be a private chalet to visit as well as a trip to beautiful Montreux and Lake Geneva. How delicious and wonderful! Cost - $3,190. for 8 days, includes instruction, critiques, housing, most meals, transfers, cultural excursions, guide/translator/driver, and an 8 passenger van for daily painting sites. Classes in Yosemite National Park
From Tuesday, May 17 to Saturday, May 21, 2011. Classes are from 9:30 – 2 PM daily. Meet at the Art Activity and Education Center building just to the right as you face the Yosemite Village Store. I will take everyone to a different location every day. Blooming dogwood at its peak, wild azaleas bursting, and abundant waterfalls will be our painting subjects. At this posting, the Yosemite Conservancy is asking for a $5.00 donation per day for lessons; all money collected stays in the Center to keep it active. My Yosemite paintings, prints and cards will be for sale; a percentage of all sales stay with the Yosemite Conservancy and the Center. www.Yosemite.org
